Kim Kardashian Celebrates "Best Dad" Kanye West On Father's Day With Sweet Posts

It’s no secret that Kim Kardashian and her equally famous ex have been going through a very messy and public rough patch since their split. But on Father’s Day, the mom of four put aside any differences to praise the “best dad” and father of her children, Kanye West.

In a series of recent Instagram stories, the Skims mogul, who is currently dating the very tatted Pete Davidson, presented a united family front to thank West for being an awesome dad to her kids. The separated couple share children North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3.

Drama between Kardashian and West has been well-documented on Hulu’s The Kardashians, and the reality TV star seemed pretty intent on standing up for herself and no longer tolerating any disrespect from the rapper. Hopefully for the sake of their kids, this new social media post seems to hint at a more amicable relationship.

“Thank you for being the best dad to our babies and loving them the way you do! Happy Father’s Day Ye,” Kardashian captioned one of her Instagram Stories. Kim K also posted a sweet action shot of Kanye clad in shades as he hugged his kids, North and Saint.

West was in full Uncle Mode too, pictured with 7-year-old nephew Reign joining the family fun on top of his shoulders:

It seems like the 41-year-old, who is about to launch her new skincare line SKKN, was in a nostalgic mood as she extended her love to other former partners of Kardashian women. She also posted a fun throwback of her huge blended family.

It’s nice that Kim K could take the high road on this Father’s Day and bury the hatchet with West to do what’s best for her kids. Although the holiday tribute to her once-husband didn’t quite make the main grid, an Instagram Story is still a loving gesture and a solid olive branch.

For the foreseeable social media future, though, it looks like Kim K’s main grid is currently reserved for her new man only.
