When I was in high school, there were a few girls — no older than 16 or 17 — who were pregnant. The thought of having an unplanned baby scared me half to death. Little did I know, there were celebrities going through the same thing right along my classmates. As naive as it sounds, I always assumed famous people planned everything out. But there are plenty of celebrities who have had unplanned pregnancies, too.
I don't know if it was because I thought that the rich and famous didn't have real issues that "regular" people face. I assumed their biggest issues was deciding where to drop hundreds of dollars on dinner. But hearing famous women open up about how their pregnancies weren't planned was a little bit of surprise to me. At the same time, however, it was refreshing to know that celebrities are just like us. Life throws them curveballs too, and they find a way to adapt and make the best out of an unexpected situation. They also face the same criticisms and cruel comments, and find a way to overcome.
So if you find yourself staring at a positive pregnancy test and wondering "what the eff?", take comfort in knowing that you're not alone in the shock and awe. These 15 celebrities also faced unplanned pregnancies and came out on top. And you will too.
