Author and model Chrissy Teigen has been keeping it sassy on Twitter for years now, and her recent motherhood status hasn't slowed her down — in fact, I think it's made her even better. Teigen has (very successfully) harnessed Twitter as a platform to speak out about women's issues and hit back at haters. Baby Luna might still be a bit young to fully understand her mom's lessons, but I've rounded up 16 tweets that prove why Teigen will be an awesome feminist mom to baby Luna as she grows up.

First, though, I'd like to set you up with Teigen's definition of feminism. Speaking to The Huffington Post in 2014, Teigen said she definitely identified as a feminist, adding (in a candid tone she's become well known for):

People have sorely messed up the definition of feminism. It isn’t saying this is wrong and this is right. It’s having the power to do whatever the fuck you want. It’s about having your own beliefs and staying true to them.

If you add husband John Legend's views on feminism to that, you'll see why Luna's going to be growing up in a very empowering household. "[John]’s a bigger feminist than I am!" Teigen said in that same Huffington Post interview. "He would always explain to me that there are so many different ways to be a strong woman."

Judging by Teigen and Legend's views on feminism, there's no doubt that little Luna will be allowed to grow into whatever kind of woman she wishes.
