Dorit Kemsley & Eden Sassoon Share A Connection

With each new season of a Real Housewives show comes new faces to get to know and be a little weary of, lest they become new season villains or trouble makers. But you don't really expect a friendship crush to blossom, even though that seems to be what happened when Dorit met Eden. So, are Dorit Kemsley and Eden Sassoon friends on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? They met for the first time this season and Dorit seemed to be in immediate awe of the 43-year-old single mom of two. Among fights and squabbles on RHOBH, you suddenly have Dorit saying things about Eden like, "Even a straight girl could be attracted to her," and not only is it a refreshing change to see a friendship start to form, but it's what viewers should have expected when it was announced that Eden would be brought on for Season 7 of RHOBH.

The super zen Pilates instructor and daughter of the late hair icon Vidal Sassoon has been alcohol-free for several years now and prides herself on that. But she also seems to be all about positivity, which is a welcome and refreshing change among the usual bustle of Real Housewives.

So in a way, it would almost be impossible not to become friends with her, but are Dorit and Eden total BFFs now? Eden came in on the show amidst fighting already happening between some of the housewives, but somehow she managed to make some strong connections with some of the ladies regardless. And yes, that includes Dorit. In an Instagram post featuring the two of them from a few months ago, Eden captioned it with: "Just adore her in every way! @doritkemsley Some things are just #BlackAndWhite #EdensLoveStory never a bad time with this one. @doritkemsley thank u for a fun dinner."

When Eden premiered on RHOBH, Dorit was already deep into it with fellow housewives Erika Girardi and Eileen Davidson, but none of that really concerned Eden. In an interview with E! online she said, "Because I came on five weeks into the season, I didn't know anything that was going on with Dorit. But when I met Dorit, which we'll see tonight, we hit it off." And it's clear that the fellow Real Housewives newbie found another kindred spirit in Dorit. "I love it. I think it's cute. We have this fun relationship, but I hadn't seen or known of anything that's gone on up until then. As we go on, we have a special thing between us, but watching, my heart goes out to her."

Real Housewives is both known and loved for being dramatic and full of the kinds of table-flipping, drink-splashing, bleep-inducing fights that keep the viewership strong, but at least there is something good coming from it all right now. As of now, Dorit and Eden are total friendship goals.
