Gemini Name Predictions For Beyonce's Twins Are So Cool

Beyoncé's twins reportedly arrived last week, and fans have been going bananas for information on the two babies. Sadly for the curious, Beyoncé and JAY-Z have kept (understandably) mum about their new arrivals — which means the public has simply had to come up with its own predictions and theories about the twins. My personal favorite? Guessing Beyonce's twins' names based on Gemini references, since she gave birth to actual Gemini twins. Ready to meet the real-life Castor and Pollux, anyone?

Romper reached out to Beyoncé's rep to confirm the twins' birth, but did not hear back immediately. However, according to People, Blue Ivy's baby siblings were born last week, and Beyoncé's dad tweeted a congratulatory note on Sunday that seemed to confirm the news. According to TMZ, the twins were born prematurely (a frequent occurrence when it comes to pregnancies with multiple babies), and they've had to remain in the Los Angeles hospital where Beyoncé reportedly gave birth.

It's completely understandable that Beyoncé and JAY-Z have remained tight-lipped about the latest additions to their family, but in the meantime, that means we get to make wagers on what they'll name their new kids. Here are some of the best Gemini-related names for you to place your bets on. (Word of warning: I would strongly recommend not gambling away your life savings on these.)

Castor & Gemma

Castor and Pollux are the twins from Greek mythology that the Gemini constellation was named after. Since Beyoncé's twins are rumored to be a baby boy and a baby girl, we can use the name Castor for the boy and Gemma for the girl. Gemma, of course, is a shout-out to the Geminid meteor shower — one of the most impressive annual shows you can catch.

Aria & Samir

Gemini is a sign associated with the element of air, so the Lemonade star — famous for her love of symbolism and hints — could choose air-related names for her kids. Aria is Italian for "air" (and also sounds like a Game of Thrones favorite character, so it gains marks in the trendy department), while Samir means "wind" in Sanskrit. Personally, I think Sam and Aria Carter sound like a pretty dynamic duo.

Pollux & Alhena
