Stream Lady Gaga's 'Joanne' Before The Super Bowl
Super Bowl 51 is only days away and the suspense is at an all time high. For some, it’s all about the ultimate face-off between the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons in Houston, but, let's be honest — for most, it’s about Lady Gaga’s upcoming halftime gig, which she reportedly described as a lifelong dream. Mother Monster hasn’t dished many details about the much-anticipated gig, but Us Weekly reported earlier this week that she’ll announce her upcoming Joanne tour on Monday, Feb. 6 — the morning after the Super Bowl — so, understandably, fans are hoping for a few tastes of what’s to come. If you can’t wait for Lady Gaga's Super Bowl performance (also understandable) and the tour announcement, here’s how to stream Joanne before the big show and get your fix ahead of time.
Lady Gaga’s new album Joanne — her fifth studio album, which includes the single “Perfect Illusion” — was released in October 2016 and can be streamed easily (and for free) if you have a Spotify account.
If you haven’t used the streaming service yet, it’s very simple to use. You can sign up for Spotify with an email address or by connecting with Facebook. If you don’t want to fork over the funds for a premium account ($9.99 per month after a 30-day free trial), then just be prepared to sit through a few interruptions to listen with the free version, which is ad-supported like other radio streaming services — think Pandora and iHeartRadio — and can be accessed on your computer, tablet, or smartphone.
All 14 songs from Joanne — the pop star’s first album since ARTPOP in 2013 — can be streamed on Spotify. It’s not clear at the moment if any of these hits will make it to her Super Bowl playlist, but after listening to Joanne it’s impossible to imagine how she’ll narrow her choices down for a roughly 30-minute performance.
Whether she performs an entire set of new hits or dives into the classics, it's a virtual guarantee that Lady Gaga will put on a great performance that we'll be talking about for days to come. Judging by her recent (and frequent) posts on her Instagram account, she's been prepping a lot — and it looks like she's just as excited as we are.
She even gave fans a sneak peek at some possible dance moves for the big day. "Anyone that's looking for a sneak peek of the Halftime show, here it is. Getting ready for press conference w hairography assistant," the pop star captioned her Instagram post on Thursday.
If your toes are tapping and Sunday is too far away to wait patiently for Lady Gaga's Super Bowl halftime performance, don't worry, you're not alone. Thanks to the magical people at Spotify, streaming Joanne is super easy and will hopefully get you through the weekend.
