'DWTS' Keeps Alan Bersten Pretty Busy

So far this season on Dancing With the Stars, pro dancer Maks Chmerkosvkiy has had to sit out for all but one performance due to a calf injury he got in the second week of rehearsals. Luckily, troupe member Alan Bersten as able to step in with partner Heather Morris and help her earn some pretty high marks. But since he’s getting more and more screen time, viewers are likely asking: is Alan Bersten single?

Dancing With the Stars is obviously a big deal to the 22-year-old dancer, and he’s been a troupe member for several years, but Season 24 has already been able to give him the opportunity to show his skills on the dance floor quite a bit, so naturally fans are taking an even bigger interest in him. But between DWTS and the Dancing With the Stars Live tour, I honestly don’t know how Bersten could find the time for a girlfriend. Bersten was part of the tour that took place late 2016/early 2017 and was ready to go for Season 24 of DWTS when it premiered in March.

Judging by his Instagram, it doesn’t look like he had much time to fit in romance, but he does seem like a pretty big flirt and has proven to be all sorts of adorable in front of the camera. But what is his love life really like, you may ask?

Bersten’s actual romantic past, as far as fans know, isn’t very lucrative but does involve some relationship rumors about Bersten and his former partner from Season 22 of DWTS, UFC fighter Paige VanZant. At the time, the two had had the opportunity to dance together on different occasions throughout the season and as the semi-finals arrived, Entertainment Tonight asked them about a possible romance. VanZant had given a coy, “A girl does not kiss and tell” but as of right now, it doesn’t look like VanZant and Bersten are a thing.

During the most recent DWTS tour, Bersten dirty danced his way across the stage with different female members of the tour and even posted praises for pros Sharna Burgess and Emma Slater on his Instagram, but that just goes back to the whole big flirt thing and proves just how likable he is from everyone he comes into contact with. Obviously his current partner, Morris, is happily married, but if Bersten gets bumped up to pro sometime in the near future, he might be able to strike up a romance with a future partner after all.
