Kim Kardashian's First Photo Of Chicago West Is Here & People Are Absolutely Losing It

Kardashian fans have spent a lot of time lately awaiting baby news, and on Monday, a super-exciting update hit the internet. Kim Kardashian's first photo of Chicago West is here, people! While the reality star previously gave the world a glimpse of her third child in Kylie Jenner's baby reveal video, Monday's Instagram photo is serving up some next-level cuteness.

In the picture of Kardashian and Chicago, mother and child stare at the camera, a filter adding mouse ears and noses to their faces, their eyes extra-big and doe-like. Chicago looks like a little doll, and it's adorable. Fans on Instagram were bowled over, filling Kardashian's comment section with heart-eyed emojis and various compliments ranging from "pretty" to "gorgeous."

Chicago, Kardashian's third child with husband Kanye West, was born Jan. 15, 2018 via surrogate, and although Kardashian is known for sharing basically every detail of her life with her millions of followers, she's been pretty coy about her newest baby until now. Her Instagram feed over the last month and a half has included photos of her two older children (North, age 4, and Saint, age 2), her husband, her mother Kris Jenner, and, of course, plenty of photos of herself (including a few that caused a bit of controversy). But Monday's mother-daughter photo is the first of its kind. Take a look:

Still, Kardashian has given a few updates about Chicago up until now. First, she announced Chicago's birth on her website, with a post titled "She's here!" Kardashian wrote:

We're so in love... Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl. We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care. North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister.

A few days after her baby's birth, she posted a picture of the word "Chicago" emblazoned on fabric on her Instagram:

And just recently, she responded to a fan on Twitter with an update on the latest Kardashian-West baby. Twitter user "North West Is A Legend" asked the reality star, "Sis how is Chi doing?? We need weekly updates." And Kardashian actually responded, writing, "The sweetest! Best baby! She looks a tiny bit like North and a tiny bit like Saint but definitely her own person!"

With the first photo dropping on social media just a couple days after that exchange, fans got to judge for themselves just how much Chicago resembled the other members of her famous family, although the filter made it a little bit difficult.

But of course, the biggest prior glimpse of Chicago came during Kylie Jenner's baby reveal video. Like Kardashian, Jenner also stayed more tight-lipped than normal about her baby, refusing to publicly confirm or deny her pregnancy even as fans clamored for a picture of her bump.

But after Stormi, Jenner's baby with Travis Scott, was born, Jenner posted an 11-minute-long video on YouTube entitled "To Our Daughter," filled with footage from her pregnancy. And one of the most buzzed-about moments in the viral video came when a pregnant Jenner held her tiny niece, while Kardashian looked on.

For all those who complained that Kardashian was sure taking her sweet time to bless the internet with cute baby pictures, Kardashian actually waited longer to reveal what North and Saint looked like, when they were born. She didn't share her first photo of Saint until he was 3 months old, and only revealed what North looked like when the little girl was 10 weeks old.
