Kris Jenner Dishes On Kylie Jenner's Pregnancy, & It's Kind Of Confusing?

Kylie Jenner's reported pregnancy is all that anyone will be talking about for the weeks to come. It has been less than 24 hours since TMZ and People confirmed with sources that the 20 year old is expecting her first child and people can not stop talking about it — even Kylie's mom, Kris Jenner. During an interview with The Cut, Kris Jenner dished on Kylie's pregnancy, leaving fans even more confused than ever.

On Friday afternoon, it was reported that Kylie was expecting her first child with boyfriend of a few months, Travis Scott. Sources confirmed to both TMZ and People that the reality star and beauty mogul was expecting a child due next year. Needless to say, people were pretty dang excited about the news — but confused. Both TMZ and People are fairly reputable sources to get this information from. But after the news broke, none of the members of the Kardashian/Jenner family (including Kylie) spoke about the news or confirmed it. That is, until now. During an appearance at Milan Fashion Week, Kylie's momager (thats mom and manager), Kris Jenner, briefly spoke about the news, becoming the first person from the family to publicly say anything about it — and her words were not helpful.

When asked about the news, Kris told The Cut:

I just woke up this morning. She's not confirmed anything. I think it's kind of wild that everyone is assuming that that's just happening.

When asked if she knew this rumor was bound to happen, Kris was even shadier than ever, telling The Cut:

Something happens every single day. You never know what is going to happen at any given moment.

Excuse me, Kris? How can one person kind of confirm what everyone is thinking yet be so completely elusive at the same time? Kris' answer is the perfect politician's answer — middle of the road, pleasing everyone while not saying anything at the same time. Seriously, once she is done managing her children's careers, Kris should try running for office.

But back to the important stuff. In all honesty, Kris is right. Kylie has not confirmed anything. And it is kind of wild for people to assume that she is pregnant, just because two news sources confirmed it with their own unnamed sources. News sources get things wrong all the time, so people should be skeptical. But at the same time, you can see why everyone is freaking out, right? People love Kylie so this news is naturally huge. And leading up to the announcement, Kylie has been posting old photos of herself on Instagram, according to In Touch, and has been wearing baggy clothes while going out. Those things, combined with the confirmation from two separate sources, basically confirms Jenner's pregnancy for a lot of people.

And in a way, Kris confirms the pregnancy in her last answer. By saying "you never know what will happen" in my opinion, she is basically confirming Kylie's pregnancy — especially since it was so unexpected for fans. But there has to be some kind of reason why Kris wouldn't just flat out confirm the news. Maybe it is because she was taken by surprise by the news herself? Or is Kylie planning on announcing it in a major way?

Kris' answer to the pregnancy rumors suspiciously sounds a lot like how Kim Kardashian addressed the surrogacy rumors surrounding her and husband Kanye West earlier this month. When news broke that Kardashian's surrogate was reportedly pregnant, Kardashian had yet to confirm anything about it. And when asked about it during a red carpet appearance, according to Entertainment Tonight, Kim said: "We haven't confirmed anything, so I don't know where you guys are hearing this from." Hm.

It is quite possible that there will be some confirmation when Keeping Up With The Kardashians celebrates its 10 year anniversary and the new season airs on E! this Sunday. Until Kylie comes out and addresses the rumors, nothing is 100 percent certain. But for right now, Kris' confusing words about Kylie's alleged pregnancy will do.
