Here's Kmart's 2017 Black Friday Schedule So You Can Plan Accordingly

Thanksgiving is a time to celebrate your blessings with family and friends with an amazing feast and a little football. It also marks the beginning of the holiday season, so you can bust out your holiday songs and sweaters with no guilt and begin shopping for presents. One of the most popular places to shop for the holidays is Kmart, because they will always have something for everyone on your list. But if you aren’t exactly sure about store timings, and want to head out post-turkey dinner, you may wonder, what time does Kmart open on Black Friday 2017?

Trying to figure out which stores are open and when has become more complex in the past few years, so it’s better to know before you go. Kmart announced that their stores will open at 6 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day and close at 10 p.m. on Black Friday. But the Black Friday deals won't start until 6 p.m. Thanksgiving Day, and some stores will close at midnight Thanksgiving night to reopen at 6 a.m. Black Friday while some will close at 2 a.m. and reopen at 6 a.m. on Black Friday. The website further noted that there are some stores that will be open for longer or shorter hours, so it’s good idea to check your local Kmart’s store hours.

The good news is that Kmart will have exclusive deals available all weekend long, starting from Thursday, Nov. 23 through Sunday, Nov. 26, so there will be plenty of time to nab some great finds. Doorbusters, however, will only be available in store and online from 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving until 2 p.m. on Black Friday, so you can head out right after your turkey dinner, or early the next morning.

Kmart’s doorbusters this year are really worth waiting for. They have 1000 Thread Count Sheet Sets, $20 in queen and king sizes, select appliances under five bucks, including a Proctor Silex Hand Mixer and a Proctor Silex 2-Slice Toaster, and $200 off of a Samsung 55" class Smart 4K UHD TV, $499. One of the best doorbuster deals Kmart has this year is half-off of these Skullcandy Uproar Bluetooth on-ear headphones, $25, which would be a perfect gift for anyone on your holiday shopping list.

There are even some great winter essentials you can stock up on for the whole family. To keep your family warm for under 20 bucks this winter, Kmart doorbusters include Athletic Kid’s Puffer Jackets, $9, Attention Women’s Puffer Jackets, $19, and Basic Editions Men’s Puffer Jackets, $19. To keep your toes warm in the snow, they have deals on boots, including Women’s Cate and Tipper Boots, $13 and Girls' Cindy and Etta Fashion Boots, $10.

And for those hard to shop for people on your holiday list, Kmart doorbusters have great deals like these Sterling Silver Diamond Accent Earrings, $10 that are sure to please any lady on your list. You can even pick up some great stocking stuffers like these amazingly priced Essential Home Fleece Throws, $2 that are available in a variety of patterns, or you can pick from classic board games for $5 like Yahtzee, Trouble, or Candy Land that can be enjoyed by both adults and kids alike.

Aside from the doorbusters, Kmart is offering great prices on stuff all weekend long. They will be offering 50 percent off of apparel, boots, and Christmas lighting, along with 40 percent off bath and bedding items from Thursday through Sunday, online and in store. So if you aren’t able to catch the doorbusters, you will still be able to find lots of items at the lowest prices of the year.

If you're planning to stalk the Kmart aisles for their unbelievable deals this Thanksgiving, make sure to check the timings for your specific store. Most stores will open at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, so you'll have to plan around your turkey dinner for your Black Friday excursion.
