Two Bachelor In Paradise stars have a little one on the way. Evan Bass and Carly Waddell announced on Sunday that they are expecting. Little information has been shared beyond the pregnancy announcement, but we do know the answer to the pressing question, when is Carly Waddell due. The baby is expected to arrive in February. News of the coming addition to their family is still very new, so perhaps more information will be provided soon. Until then, here's what we know so far.
The pair has apparently been planning to start a family for a while now. Bass told E! Online as much in an interview:
We are so excited to welcome this new addition to our family. We wanted to start having children quickly, and mission accomplished.
Waddell and Bass shared their exciting news in an interview with People on Sunday. After the interview, Waddell posted adorable photos of herself and her hubby on Instagram with the best caption:
SECRET IS OUT GUYS!!!! Evan and I are SO EXCITED to announce we are HAVING A BABY!!! What a beautiful, wonderful, wild year it has been and the adventure continues Feb 2018! 👶🏽❤️ (also Evans face here is hilarious and wonderful)
This sweet couple fell in love while on Bachelor in Paradise last year and tied the knot in June. They discussed their dream wedding with People after the ceremony and said:
There was no better way to celebrate the start of our forever journey together. The setting, in a garden overlooking the ocean, created a stunning visual that I don’t think anyone will forget. Evan’s children delivered heartfelt and hysterical speeches that had everyone laughing and crying simultaneously. The love from Bachelor Nation has been overwhelming and we are so grateful to all who helped make this day amazing.
While this will be Waddell's first child, he or she will be joining an already large family. Bass and Waddell live in Nashville, Tennessee, along with Bass’ three sons from a previous relationship: Nathan, Liam, and Ensley. The addition of the coming baby will leave this happy family with plenty of love to go around.
It looks like the age old nursery rhyme "first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a baby in a baby carriage" came true for this happy couple. Given the depressingly high number of Bachelor relationships that don't pan out picture-perfectly, it is refreshing to see a couple from the franchise doing so well.
