When Is 'Counting On' Star Joy-Anna Duggar Due?

After getting married this May, Counting On's Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth are reportedly expecting their first child together. The two shared their glee on social media, complete with some sweet pregnancy shots of the mother-to-be. So when is Joy-Anna Duggar due? Her pregnancy post gave a few hints, but some bigger details are still lacking for the time being. Romper has reached out to the Duggar family for comment, but has not heard back at this time.

From the looks of her photo, 19-year-old Joy-Anna is reportedly "showing," and appears to be several months along. If Joy-Anna is, let's say, three months along, then her baby would be due sometime in March. If she's four months along, we can expect a new Duggar baby in February. So, the newest Duggar baby will probably have a springtime ETA.

Many are speculating, though, that Joy-Anna might have known she was pregnant before her wedding, so her baby might arrive even sooner than these estimates. Were this the case, her experience would run counter to her family's very conservative, traditional Christian values, especially their views on physical contact. When courting a Duggar, suitors must follow strict protocol, including no hand-holding until engagement, fully-chaperoned dates, and no kissing until marriage. For a Duggar daughter, premarital pregnancy would be a total shock to fans who follow the family.

Another contributor to all of this potentially-pregnant-before-marriage speculation? Joy-Anna and Austin's short engagement, as People reported. Three months after proposing, the two had their wedding. Just a few months prior to that, they started their "courtship." But, it's not like the two were ever strangers; Joy-Anna and Austin grew up together and had been friends for pretty much their whole lives.

It's quite possible that Joy-Anna and Austin were immediately ready to start their family, and got to it right after their May wedding. As her Instagram pregnancy announcement revealed:

Austin and I are SO thankful to announce that we are parents!! Even before we were married we prayed that God would give us children and we are so blessed that he has given us this baby!

Whatever the details may be, Joy-Anna's carrying on her family legacy of, well, creating more family members. Despite being their first child, the new baby Forsyth will have plenty of aunts, uncles, and cousins to play with. There are eight Duggar grandchildren as of now — two to Jessa Seewald, four to Josh Duggar (with one on the way), and two to Jill Duggar. Looks like family reunions will just keep growing for the Duggar clan!
