Breastfeeding Awareness Month Inspired Momcozy’s Empowering Events

Nursing can be rewarding for both mother and baby, benefitting health and empowering bonding. But it can come with difficulties, too. There are persistent stigmas surrounding when and how mothers should breastfeed, and it can be difficult for mothers to find the support and information they need to succeed for their babies.

That’s why Momcozy is educating mothers about breastfeeding with Cozy Evolution: Together We Grow. As part of that, Momcozy held a campaign during World Breastfeeding Week and National Breastfeeding Month with the theme, Breaking Barriers: Real Support for Breastfeeding Journeys. The campaign, which ran from July 21 to August 31, passionately showcased the challenges that hinder breastfeeding and celebrated the diversity of each breastfeeding journey.

Momcozy: Bringing Comfort to Mothers

During September, Momcozy ran a campaign called Cozy Evolution: Together We Grow to highlight the transformational power of becoming a mother and what it takes to support one another and succeed. This comes from the core of Momcozy’s mission to create a supportive community of empowered mothers who are valued and understood and can find all the support they need. Momcozy focuses on all mothers’ unique challenges and lined up some special events during September.

Inspiration From Celebs

Some celebrities play superhero roles on TV, but their real-life heroics include what they do off set. Two women in particular shared their experiences as mothers to help Momcozy advocate for moms everywhere. They brought their stories and enthusiasm to a conversation with Momcozy, where their friendship and mutual support showed fellow moms what it’s like to face the challenges of motherhood with an ally at your side.

Comfort in the Momcozy Lounge

All over the world, nursing mothers will tell you how important it is to have a safe, calm space set aside to nurse and care for their babies. Momcozy highlighted this need by bringing such a space to one of the year’s brightest, most exciting events. At the heart of New York’s fashion shows, the Momcozy lounge provided attending mothers with a safe space to seek comfort, whether for nursing, resting, or giving their babies a break.

Safe, soft play spaces prepared for children gave the littlest attendees a place to themselves. In many ways, it celebrated the multifaceted nature of modern mothers, who balance their pursuits and careers with the impassioned work of motherhood. The Momcozy Lounge also made a statement that motherhood and style belong together.

These events created important moments. Motherhood can be incredibly difficult, and it takes the work of a community to give mothers the space and opportunities they need to succeed.
