Christine Kandic Torres

Christine Kandic Torres is a writer based in Queens, New York. Her non-fiction can be found on Fierce by mitú, Ravishly, On She Goes, and in the print anthology States of the Union, for which her piece, “The Devil We Know,” won the Editor’s Choice Award. Her fiction has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and has received support from the Jerome Foundation and Hedgebrook. She currently lives in Jackson Heights where she is at work on her first novel.
